Experience with natural dye Swatches

Hey Guys, welcome all, here I come up with a new post, sharing my experience of making swatches from natural dyes. It’s an Beautiful experience I had & I learnt so much from this! I had my workshop at silica ins., long back, so now I’m gonna share with you this! So without any further ado let’s get started!

Turmeric dye with different patterns:

Well, you can see different patterns here, but with same dye that is turmeric! Well how I did this! All you gotta do is just make a pattern with rough Cotton cloth, how I did was , I got ice cream sticks & also I made a tie dye to give a swirl pattern & dip in the turmeric liquid ( just add water, turmeric & boil it)

It was a practical session, and I really enjoyed a lot ! It was fun doing it!

Carrot natural dye :

It’s quite cute right? My fav one! It’s the same process of how i done for turmeric. But you have to leave to dry it for 12 – 14 hours! So that the dye absorbs to the cloth.

Beetroot but coffee :

Well, i Can’t name this because I ruined it, I’ve supposed to be dip this in beetroot but unknowingly I dipped this in coffee dye !! Arrrggghhhhh I felt so sad that I wasted this, but once it dried I tried with lime also and atlast it turned out to be like this! So then the pattern I’ve made here with different types of pulses and tied with it.

Bonus: Block printing method in cotton cloth.

Well, our ma’am doesn’t ask to us create a new pattern or do it as Pro in it. Just make sure us to press the block print harder to how eligible we are! Just press harder where ever we want, just random pattern! I may done mistakes or even this doesn’t look nice, but I’ve learnt something which I need it!

Well, thank you for reading 💜 until next time byeeeeee 💜!
